Gabriele Stabile is an Italian photographer based in New York and Rome and the co-founder of Raw Messina, an artist run gallery in Milan. A graduate of the ICP, Gabriele has worked extensively on displacement issues. His monograph "Refugee Hotel", that chronicles refugees' resettlement in America, in collaboration with Juliet Linderman, was published in 2012 by Voice of Witness/Mc Sweeneys, San Francisco. His photographs have been shown in solo and collective exhibitions at home and abroad, in galleries and museums, and have appeared on many publications including The New York Times, Le Monde, Time, and Newsweek. Listed on the masthead of Lucky Peach since issue #1, Gabriele has been a steady contributor of FADER during Phil Bicker's tenure as art director, and of The New Yorker Magazine. 

Gabriele is self represented in Europe and by Redux in the US.
